Announcing CIHS’ Psychology Program Director Dr. Farnaz Khoromi9/13/2021

Dear CIHS Community,

I am very pleased to announce that on September 13, Dr. Farnaz Khoromi has been appointed to serve as CIHS’ Psychology Program Director.

Dr. Khoromi is a California licensed psychologist with over 10 years of therapy experience and a recognized scholar in psychology and Sufism. Her career trajectory mirrors CIHS’ science-sprit-consciousness integrative mission. During her 30 years career in higher education, Farnaz has devoted herself to clinical psychology, integrating with her role as a professor of engineering, and mathematics. Additionally, she is credentialed in electroencephalography neurofeedback and will advance CIHS’ research mission.

The Search Committee, chaired by Bill Howe, interviewed several candidates and recommended that Dr. Khoromi fill this important position at CIHS.
