Through the Window of the Enneagram with Dr. Frank DeLuca

Wednesday January 24, 7:00-9:00 pm

An introduction to this often mysterious or misunderstood idea. The enneagram helps unlock the 9 personality traits we all possess. With this understanding we can understand ourselves, and all those we interact with in a more compassionate and insightful manner. Wonderful for parents, teachers, healers, and professionals of all types. Requested donation $10-20.

Living a Luminous Life with Jacob Liberman

Wednesday February 7, 7:00-8:30 pm.

During this presentation and book signing, Dr. Jacob Israel Liberman reveals how the luminous intelligence we call light effortlessly guides us toward health, contentment and a life filled with purpose. Dr. Jacob Israel Liberman’s discoveries in the fields of light, vision, and consciousness, have been enthusiastically endorsed by luminaries in the fields of health, science, and spirituality, including Deepak Chopra, Bruce Lipton, and Eckhart Tolle. His newest book, Luminous Life: How the Science of Light Unlocks the Art of Living, reveals how light guides our every step, so we may fulfill our reason for being. Books will be available for purchase.

Introduction to Medical Intuition with Dr. Wendi Colter

Wednesday February 28, 7:00 – 9:00 pm.

Recent advances in the field of healthcare suggest the importance of including the mind, body & spirit when treating patients. One way to strengthen the communication between the mind and body is through the skill of intuition. Like any other skill, intuitive abilities can be learned and optimized for greater clarity and application. Join us for this informative talk about ways to increase your own intuition for personal or professional use.

Weekend Workshop: Dying Consciously: The Greatest Journey

The Dying Consciously Program is a service dedicated to helping people make their final transitions. It is designed for all people involved in the dying process: the individual, caregivers, family members and friends. It offers a message of hope with easy to follow steps: it is possible to bring dignity and peace back to the dying process.

Weekend Workshop: Creative Fire with Brian Rill Ph.D.

Saturday/Sunday March 17-18

Creativity is the dance between what we know and what we don’t know, a tension between possibility and constraint. The challenge is to awaken particular energies that help our creativity flourish, and to interrupt disruptive energies that kill our creativity. In this weekend seminar you will learn how to identify and work with these energies to become an inner commander of your own creative enterprise, able to harness your potential at will and with skill.

Mondays and Thursdays, 9:30 – 10:30 am. Tai Chi with Master Richard Hsu.

Our classes teach Yang-style Tai Chi, which includes twenty-four postures, or short forms which are the most popular style world-wide, including China. The basics are easy to learn but still retain the basic essence of the art form. Each lesson consists of different warm-up routines that incorporate deep breathing and standing meditation. As part of the warm-up, a popular routine called Baduanjin qigong or “Eight Brocades” will be introduced. For a healthy life-style and longevity in retirement, incorporate Tai Chi as part of your daily exercise! Drop in’s welcome! Cost $10/class.

Beginning Feb. 2nd. Friday’s 6:00 – 7:30 pm. North County Friday Night Zen Circle.

Led by Sensei Jose Shinzan Palma and Ji Hyang Padma. Zen practice (sitting and chanting) followed by a brief Dharma Talk on Zen, with some time for questions or commentaries. Everyone is welcome. Requested donation $10-20.

Wednesdays, January 17th AND February 21st, 7 – 8pm. Deep Sound Meditation.

The Deep Sound Meditation is the largest and longest playing sound meditation in the country. Participants in Deep Sound Meditations report healing on many levels, a nourishing and rejuvenating relaxation and often transformative insights. Bring a yoga mat and/or blanket and prepare to relax! Requested donation $20.

Wednesdays February 14th AND March 7th, 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Healing Circle.

After a brief introduction and setting a community intention, the healing energy work will take place in a quiet, safe community setting. The evening space will include gentle healing sounds and practices shared by energy workers of all modalities and traditions. Requested donation $10-20.
