Biography
Charles H. Silverstein, PhD is dedicated to pursuing his deep interest in personal transformation, alternative healing, depth psychology and the relationship between science and spirituality. After careers in math education and institutional fixed-income investments, he pursued his lifelong interest in spirituality and transformation with his most recent degrees. In 2012, he became the Academic Director of the M.A. program in Consciousness Studies and Transpersonal Psychology at The Graduate Institute for Holistic Studies where he was also the Vice President for Academic Affairs. In his administrative role, Charles founded and directed the life coaching program, Coaching with Spirit.
Other board memberships that Charles holds are Director and Treasurer of The Society for Consciousness Studies, Director and Treasurer of ALEPH: Alliance for Jewish Renewal (on leave). Charles is on leave to serve as the Interim Dean of the ALEPH Ordination Program, administering the programs that train rabbis, cantors, rabbinic pastors and spiritual directors.
