Motoyama Prize

The Motoyama Prize is funded by Dr. Hiroshi Motoyama, the founder and president of CIHS, and his wife Mrs. Kaoru Motoyama. This prize is awarded every year to an author of the most outstanding paper submitted to the CIHS Journal. This award is based solely on the merit and content of the author’s contribution of the submitted paper. Adjudication of the prize will be carried out by Dr. Motoyama and other peer reviewers on our editorial board.

The purpose of the Motoyama Prize is to recognize outstanding findings or philosophy by other researchers working toward the integration of science and religion (or spirituality), as well as integrating Eastern dialectical logic and Western logic.

The recipient of the Motoyama Prize shall receive a cash award of $1,000.
