Good News for Clinical Psychology Student ! 

As you are aware in July the Board of Psychology notified private schools that it would not accept clinical psychology students for licensure after December 31, ’09.  However have been registering our objections to this decision because of the effect on the careers of our students and the losses they would incur.  The Board finally agreed to discuss the matter with us at their meeting on December, 21.  As a result the Board finally agreed to extend the cut off date for clinical licensure for five years until December 2013, for students that are registered by the end of this fall quarter.

If you are interested in Clinical Psychology program and licensure in California, you may regard the month of December 2008 a “chance” to apply. California Institute for Human Science is one of the graduate schools for which this extension applies.  We’d welcome your inquiries regarding this “narrow window” available to you.
