Integral Health Program:Overview
According to Dr. Motoyama’s
tridimensional theory, a human being is a synergistic,
integrated complex composed of body, mind and spirit. Dr.
Motoyama claims that all dimensions are equally real and
relevant to the study of human existence. Therefore, in
order to fully understand the complexity of the human
experience, we must study the three dimensions (body, mind,
and spirit) as an inseparable whole.
The Integral Health degree programs are
designed to address issues concerning human life from the
tridimensional model perspective. The main objective of the
Integral Health programs is to prepare students to conduct
holistic or integral-based research in the field of human
health.
